And the Winner Is…
Hi Challengers!
Congratulations, Tricia! You won the April Squidoo Challenge of the Lensmasters. Great job! If you send me your email, I’ll give you a free copy of my Building an eBook Empire eBook. Or, you can have my Social Networking on Squidoo eBook – or both!
Ruth made it to #6 on Google for diabetes treatment tips! That’s awesome!
I noticed Frank’s lens wound up #11 in Google for 2008 US Presidential Candidates, too – pretty impressive. No telling how much you can make off that lens in the coming year if you keep helping it rise in the ranks.
Thanks to all who participated. Sorry I was MIA most of the time. I really hadn’t planned on launching so soon but got a JV unexpectedly so I had to rush to make it happen. My apologies ![]()
I’ll try to do another in May, but I’m also launching a mentorship for my Building an eBook Empire buyers, so I may just leave the Forum open and let everyone launch a contest at the forum. If anyone learned any new tips this time around, let me know! Always happy to hear about Squidoo – and check out my How to build a lens video on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stZ509QNaDs

Building an eBook Empire
It’s been a long time coming, but I finally got busy and finished up my next project, Building an eBook Empire. At the end of 2006, I got feedback on what type of bonus marketers wanted and needed.
So it’s being released today! It’s 93 pages of step-by-step information on how to lay out an entire eBook Empire based on secrets and tips I’ve accumulated from being the top “ghostwriter to the gurus” over the last 6 years.
Oh, and the guinea pig that I used when I wrote the eBook? She just celebrated her first $1,000+ day yesterday! Last October, Sandra was whining in a forum of writers because her royalties were SO low on her print book. I PM’d her and said, “Let me teach you the eBook route.” Instead of making $1,600 a year, she’s hitting almost $1,000 in a 24 hour time span? She’s shocked, but I’m not. I told her this is what my “guru” clients bring in consistently.
Your bonus is called How to Write a Great Product When You’re Not a Professional Writer. I poured my heart and soul out into this product, and I’m not one of those marketers who hides the detail from you.
If you have a second, click on over to http://www.guide2ebooks.com and see if it may suit your needs. Make sure you read the
testimonials on this page, too - they’re not your usual hyped up reviews. Each one serves a specific purpose in helping you decide if this is right for you.
Have a great week!

Two in the Top 100 on Squidoo!
Hi Challengers!
Two in the top 100 now! I stopped by and rated everyone today, lensrolled one and signed the guestbooks. John and Janice, I noticed you didn’t have a guestbook, but it’ll raise your rank when you get signatures. If you decide to add one later, let me know and I’ll sign yours too.

Bookmark Traffic Secrets
If you’re like me, you don’t have a lot of time to spend rubbing elbows on the ‘net with your customers. Marketers lead busy lives and it’s hard enough to find time to spend with your own family, much less court customers on a regular basis.
It’s a double edged sword because social networks are so popular and vital to marketing right now, but they take massive amounts of time. I started looking for ways to automate the process and it looks like I found one.
Bookmarking is something many marketers aren’t doing, or aren’t doing right. I went to one site, StumbleUpon, and bookmarked my links. I started seeing a lot of traffic stream in from it, and what happened is other people are sharing the link.
So instead of socializing and exposing your link continually, day after day, as your spouse sits glaring at you from across the room, you set it up once, share it, and let the link get spread by other people. It’s actually kind of sneaky, making them work for no pay!
If you’re not bookmarking yet, you ought to give it a try. I personally used Craig Desorcy’s Ebook called Bookmark Traffic Secrets to teach me, but you can take the do-it-yourself route if you have time to figure it all out on your own. Let me know how it works for you!

PS - It’s a GREAT way to get traffic to your lenses!
