Hi everyone!
Well tomorrow I pack up the biz and head off to Galveston Beach to celebrate my 38th birthday on the 3rd and the 4th of July, too. Should be a lot of fun. Like most entrepreneurs, I’m never “truly” off work anymore.
I will check into email from time to time, but I won’t respond to anything that’s not urgent.
A couple of things I wanted to let you know about before I go:
1.) When I return, I’ll be launching more in the series of http://www.MarketingMaze.com based on what you guys have said you need and want to learn about.
2.) It’s possible I’ll be launching a ghostwriting WSO. If I do, it’ll be a mix option of having an eBook written or articles, so if you’re considering outsourcing, you might keep that in mind.
3.) My business partner from BuildMyLens.com, Lewis Smile, has launched a cool new thing I wanted to tell you about. Awhile back, we did a couple of these automated blog sites together – I wrote the content, he made an autopilot machine for the marketer.
Well I am not going into this with him, but he’s launched a special offer on the Warrior Forum at http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=255980 that lets people just buy the site operation. You use your own content.
This thing is amazing and one of the reasons I partner up with him whenever possible. It posts your posts for you, Twitters and bookmarks itself, and even translates your content into 22 different languages! (In fact, you might feel left out because you’re not needed anymore). It also comes with a guidebook and help blog so you don’t get stuck.
His full sales letter is here (but make sure if you’re interested you go buy from the Warrior Forum link above):

Anyway – those of you who know Lewis know how amazing his blend of technical prowess and creative genius is, so you can trust that his offer is one of a kind.
I’m out the door to stock up on sunblock (thanks to my previous skin cancer scare) and possibly get a swimsuit (oh the horror).
Will chat with you when I get back – have a great week ahead!

Most of us blog about something. But affiliate WordPress blogs are becoming more routine now, with the sole purpose of generating cash and informing visitors about a niche topic.
I created a lens about what it means to operate one of these types of blogs. Check it out:

Well now that my schedule’s clearing out a bit, I’m back to building lenses to flip this week. I created some lenses last week specifically for products I wanted to promote from ClickBank and Amazon, and now I’m listing them for sale with you!
All you need to do if you’re the buyer is switch my affiliate ID for your own, save, and republish and you can take it from there.
Each lens is selling for $125, so if you want it, be the first to email me back and I’ll tell you where to PayPal the funds.
Lens #1: http://www.squidoo.com/policeexam
I chose this product from ClickBank because it seemed to do well. This lens was picked up by the search engines almost immediately and is being found for the following keywords/phrases in Google:
police exam 911, commonly misspelled words in law enforcement, free police exams, free police exam test, preparing for the entry level law enforcement exam Michigan, how to pass police exam, free police exam 911, study guide to pass michigan state police written exam, how to pass police psychological exam, passing police psych exam, police exam ma practice test, free police exam, failing the police exam, police sargent promotion, commonly misspelled words on police exams, environmental police exam preparation, sample police test
Lens #2: http://www.squidoo.com/wirelessreading
This was built for the Amazon Kindle, but you can change it to reflect any wireless reading device if you want to!
Lens #3: http://www.squidoo.com/what-is-blogging
With this one, I’m promoting The BOA Method and Blogging to the Bank. I believe with the BOA, you’re going to need to get your own affiliate ID but they said they might set up on ClickBank, so maybe they’re there already. The Blogging to the Bank link is a simple ClickBank link.
I also created a poll for my blogs since I have so many, but you can alter the links to be your own blogs! It also has an RSS feed
in it for a blog (right now, mine is in there, but put your RSS feed in for your own).
SOLD: Lens #4: http://www.squidoo.com/freelancewritingjob
This lens promotes several products I found in ClickBank. This is a great topic! On this lens, I’m promoting 2 ClickBank products PLUS my Building an eBook Empire book, which you can get your affiliate ID code for through PayDotCom.
I also have a section promoting PLRMiniMart, which does not have an affiliate program, so you’ll want o change the links to reflect a PLR site that has an affiliate program if you want to make money from that section). It also has an RSS section where you can add your own feed in there for teaching people how to make money online.
SOLD: Lens #5: http://www.squidoo.com/effectsofsmoking
This lens promotes so many ClickBank products, I can’t even count them! Check it out - I have text links, poll links, StickyNote
links, and even links in the description area of the Amazon spotlight products! It’s overflowing with potential commissions.
Oh! And at the bottom I an RSS feed to one of my health blogs, but you can alter that to reflect your own!
SOLD: Lens #6: http://www.squidoo.com/treatyeastinfectionbecauseofantibiotics
Okay, the lens URL is a little long, but I did it because of keyword search terms I found and this is a good selling topic in
ClickBank, too!
SOLD: Lens #7: http://www.squidoo.com/whatdohemorrhoidslooklike
Again, this URL is based on keyword research - it’s a big deal to a lot of people! This lens promotes another good seller in ClickBank.
Note to all: All of these lenses have been tagged with 40 highly relevant keywords, and they all have images for the modules (try finding images for hemorrhoids and yeast infections!)
So be the first one to email me and let me know the lens by NAME, not number, and I’ll let you know if you were the one first in line.
By the way, sometimes I’ll have 1-2 people email about a lens and they flake out for whatever reason. I don’t mind, expect for the
fact that others find it listed later again and say, “I didn’t email because I thought it’d already be gone!”
So be sure to email if you want it because if someone backs out for whatever reason (PayPal’s not cooperating with them, they can’t come up with the money, etc.), I’ll contact the next person on the list.
Have a great Saturday!

Here’s one of my new faves - the Twitter Follow module. I like to microblog some traffic back to my various domains. Microblogging is when you use one of the brevity-based social networks like Twitter or Pownce and you have a limited amount of space to post and your fans or followers can stay updated by you.
Right now I have about 400+ followers. I wrote a short $10 report called Twitter Traffic, so many of those are from my customers. So I use Twitter to post for these occasions:
1.) Whenever I have a new lens made.
2.) Whenever I create a new Hub Page.
3.) Whenever I list a new PLR pack on PLRMiniMart.com.
4.) Any time I have a new product launch.
5.) For personal and fun reasons (you can’t be spammy and do nothing but promote or people will hate you).
So Squidoo helps you build your followers list with the Twitter Follow module. Here’s what it looks like:

Right on my lens, my visitors can see my latest Tweets (posts on Twitter). And they can click the Follow TiffanyDow link right below the module and be taken to my Twitter profile page, where they can then click the follow button right below my name.
As I build my followers, I build my micro-traffic and I build my income.
Nifty!

Okay, second module I love is the Amazon Spotlight module. I don’t even USE the regular Amazon module anymore because I like how this one looks comparatively, and I feel it’s far more effective.
With a regular Amazon module, all you’re doing is basically building a list of products. It’s no different than if the visitor went to Amazon.com themselves, typed in a keyword, and saw a results page (although you’re limited in how many can be displayed).
I like Amazon Spotlight because of what it does for the social networking aspect of web 2.0 sites - it’s a true peer recommendation. You’re not telling them, “Here are some things you might like,” but “Here’s the single, best, most important thing you can buy on ____________ subject!”
Here’s how the two modules stack up - the top one is a regular Amazon module and the bottom image is a Spotlight:

If I’m putting something in the spotlight that I, myself haven’t read or reviewed (if it’s not a book), then I always go to the reviews and pull a portion of a real customer review to quote in the comments section. Otherwise, I write my OWN review about why that product is so special.
I also make sure on either Amazon module that I display everything BUT the used price. I don’t like it when it says something about being able to buy it from $0.01 and up.
But that’s just me! You can choose whatever you want to display. I also might nix the star ratings if the ratings are poor, but here’s the thing - if the ratings are poor, I wouldn’t recommend it anyway (unless I had personally used it and felt differently than the other reviewers).
I’d also like to point out that I use Amazon Spotlight (and yes, even regular Amazon on some lenses like my toy lenses or Christmas lenses) in addition to using Fluffanutta’s SquidUtils Amazon product feature.
Have fun playing around with the various modules available. It’s one thing I L-O-V-E about Squidoo compared to Hub Pages - OPTIONS! Let me know which one you prefer to use - Regular or Spotlight Amazon? And why? Add your comments below!
