No weekend rest for moi! Today I made another type of very specific work at home career that’s not based on Internet marketing – it’s called Forex Trading and it’s one of the hottest affiliate topics online right now.

If you’re a member of the Warrior Forum, you will have seen recent discussions about the money to be made in this niche. Probably because the commissions for these products are out of this world – starting at $42 and most likely averaging about $80 per sale.

So today I created a great lens about this topic for people who want to learn Forex Trading and it promotes 6 of the top ClickBank products on this topic as well as two top selling Amazon books about it.

I had another perk to go along with this, too. I just listed a new 12-pack of Forex Trading articles on my site that will help my buyer drive traffic to their lens or elsewhere. This lens has 100% original content, FYI – not PLR.

Lens alert went out at 10:44 AM today for my 5th lens for this challenge to raise Shawn’s tuition, which I found out yesterday when I got the contract, has risen from $14k in 4th grade to $15,480 for grades 5-8. So I need to raise even more by June 15th! Ugh! Pressure!

I shouldn’t watch the clock – it makes me nervous. I start wondering if no one likes the lens, if it’s just not their niche, etc. But sometimes they just don’t sell. This one sold at 11:08 AM.

It covers a variety of topics about affiliate marketing, including a mention of CPA (cost per action) affiliate programs among other things. I had this URL reserved and I thought it’d be a good one to fill out and sell.

Day 4 – will the momentum keep rolling? I sure hope so. I built one of the best lenses today. The more I build the better I become I feel. This one had some different elements to it. I don’t know what came over me but I whipped out this 5-step blueprint for work at home success and then had to pat myself on the back it’s so good!

Today’s lens went out at 12:30 PM Texas time and by 12:41 I had a buyer – a first timer to the list, too!

I decided to create a lens on mind power today because it’s a hot niche where the products pay out a big commission – in many cases $80 or more. So I grabbed the URL: http://www.squidoo.com/your-mind-power and added keyword phrases in the lens title, module titles, and in the content itself.

I put a total 6 of ClickBank products in the lens and made sure to use buzzwords for that niche like mind power, mental, NLP, quantum, and self-hypnosis. This particular lens will work for many niches – weight loss, stress reduction, money and success, relationships, etc.

I bought 3 new images for this lens at $1 a piece from iStockPhoto. I included 2 Amazon products and here’s a little hint about that – the Amazon title of the book and the reviewer comments all have relevant keywords and content – it’s a great addition to your lens.

I had 45 new sign-ups to the Lens Alert List yesterday and 7 more today. The person who got first dibs on this lens was a newcomer. I invited everyone to send me their niche lens needs so I can create lenses they might be interested in themselves.

What’s on the menu for tomorrow? I might alternate each day with some work at home topics because they’re in such high demand.

PS - Told my son it sold and he’s amazed. He doesn’t understand - $100 might as well be 1 million to him. He’s very excited and last night gave me a BIG hug and said “Thanks, Mom.” He’s one of those kids who lives for his education - very unlike how his slacker mom was in school. In his spare time, he likes to read or do science experiments. I’ll do anything for his education. So you guys and gals rock for helping me spread the word about this!

I told my son what I was doing for him and he’s so proud (he’s 9). It’s just a challenge for me - can I pay for an entire years’ tuition using nothing but lens flipping? It’ll be interesting to see! Today I got a PM from someone wanting another WAH lens (yesterday’s lens had a lot of buyers wanting it) but this time, he wanted it to have a slant for CPA (Cost Per Action) leads.

Woke up today and since my son Is my #1 commitment, I got the lens flip done before all else. I first looked at my PLR Mini Mart to see which topics sell the most. Work at Home stuff outsells all, so work at home it was!

I logged onto the Google Keyword Tool and reordered the keyword results for the phrase work at home in order of most searches to least searches. Then I went through the Squidoo QuickBuilder page trying to stake claim to a lens URL with the most searches.

Someone must have had the same idea because almost everything’s gone. So I mashed up two phrases – earn money and work at home and grabbed the URL:
http://www.squidoo.com/earn-money-work-at-home for my first of 140 tuition-paying lens flips!

Then I took some more phrases from the Google keyword results page and turned those into titles for my three 250-ish word articles in the intro and two Text modules.

They included:

Title of Lens: Working at Home on the ‘Net

Introduction Title: Are There Really Legitimate Work at Home Opportunities?

Text Module #1 Title: A Work at Home Business That You Own

Text Module #2 Title: Freelance Work at Home Opportunities

I then took two more phrases and made them into the Amazon Spotlight module titles, and those were:

1.) Advice for Those Who Want to Be Work at Home Moms

2.) Take Your Job Home or Start a New Business at Home!

I tossed in an extra keyword phrase in the guestbook, using the title: Do You Have Work at Home Questions I Can Help You With?

Then I wrote the content up, adding links to six relevant ClickBank Products, plugged it in and chose the two Amazon Spotlight items before publishing. I write my announcement to our list and within 5 minutes it’s sold, with at least 10 buyers who missed out on it behind the winner.

$100 down.
$13,900 and 139 more days to go.

Spread the word about this and if possible, if anyone you know needs a lens, have them sign up to the Lens Alert List so they can get notification of available lenses and submit their specific niche market lens request!

Well the tax man cometh and I’m scared to find out how much more we’ll owe this year. Last year I had to gather more than $10,000 in time for taxes and it hit me right at the same time that my son’s private school tuition was due, which is over $14,000 a year.

That’s a lot of cashola to come up with in an instant.

Once again, I’m going to have a hefty tax bill. And I know the tuition will be due, too – but did I save for it throughout the year? No. I always put it off. So now I have to find a solution.

I plan on using my Flip That Lens strategy of creating and selling quality Squidoo lenses to sell 1 lens a day for 140 days. Now if one doesn’t sell one day, I’ll try on other days to sell it to a new person who has signed up to the list.

If one doesn’t sell at all, then I’ll replace it with another lens and double up one day. But over the course of 140 days, I want to have sold 140 lenses, period.
