Woke up today and since my son Is my #1 commitment, I got the lens flip done before all else. I first looked at my PLR Mini Mart to see which topics sell the most. Work at Home stuff outsells all, so work at home it was!

I logged onto the Google Keyword Tool and reordered the keyword results for the phrase work at home in order of most searches to least searches. Then I went through the Squidoo QuickBuilder page trying to stake claim to a lens URL with the most searches.

Someone must have had the same idea because almost everything’s gone. So I mashed up two phrases – earn money and work at home and grabbed the URL:
http://www.squidoo.com/earn-money-work-at-home for my first of 140 tuition-paying lens flips!

Then I took some more phrases from the Google keyword results page and turned those into titles for my three 250-ish word articles in the intro and two Text modules.

They included:

Title of Lens: Working at Home on the ‘Net

Introduction Title: Are There Really Legitimate Work at Home Opportunities?

Text Module #1 Title: A Work at Home Business That You Own

Text Module #2 Title: Freelance Work at Home Opportunities

I then took two more phrases and made them into the Amazon Spotlight module titles, and those were:

1.) Advice for Those Who Want to Be Work at Home Moms

2.) Take Your Job Home or Start a New Business at Home!

I tossed in an extra keyword phrase in the guestbook, using the title: Do You Have Work at Home Questions I Can Help You With?

Then I wrote the content up, adding links to six relevant ClickBank Products, plugged it in and chose the two Amazon Spotlight items before publishing. I write my announcement to our list and within 5 minutes it’s sold, with at least 10 buyers who missed out on it behind the winner.

$100 down.
$13,900 and 139 more days to go.

Spread the word about this and if possible, if anyone you know needs a lens, have them sign up to the Lens Alert List so they can get notification of available lenses and submit their specific niche market lens request!

Well the tax man cometh and I’m scared to find out how much more we’ll owe this year. Last year I had to gather more than $10,000 in time for taxes and it hit me right at the same time that my son’s private school tuition was due, which is over $14,000 a year.

That’s a lot of cashola to come up with in an instant.

Once again, I’m going to have a hefty tax bill. And I know the tuition will be due, too – but did I save for it throughout the year? No. I always put it off. So now I have to find a solution.

I plan on using my Flip That Lens strategy of creating and selling quality Squidoo lenses to sell 1 lens a day for 140 days. Now if one doesn’t sell one day, I’ll try on other days to sell it to a new person who has signed up to the list.

If one doesn’t sell at all, then I’ll replace it with another lens and double up one day. But over the course of 140 days, I want to have sold 140 lenses, period.

I got bogged down in projects and didn’t flip anymore lenses until today.

I read this huge article in our local paper about gas savings and then started doing some research and found that it gets an enormous number of searches each month! Then I go into the Warrior Forum and see marketers talking about it being the next big niche (and this is why there are so many products sprouting up on ClickBank for it now).

So I made two lenses to sell for $100 a pop:

1.) http://www.squidoo.com/gasmileagedevice - That last link on the
page promotes that product on ClickBank that’s doing amazingly well!

2.) http://www.squidoo.com/waystosaveongas - The first link is for
that same CB product.

I’m also considering creating an eBook of my own for this niche - especially since gas prices are going nowhere but up!

I went on a mission. Flip at least 1 lens a day in the month of February. There was one day where something weird happened and I didn’t actually take any money for a lens that day, but overall - I’d say I met my goal. It’s February 29th now - the last day. I haven’t flipped one yet, but I just blasted my list and posted it in the WSO forum.

I’ve sold 58 lenses this month, totaling $7,845. One lens was $145, another was $200, and the rest were all $125 each.

Tally to date for the month of February? $7,845! That’s over $270 a day!

On February 1st, I flipped a $200 lens on stress tests.

On February 2nd, I flipped a $125 lens on difficult coworkers but I also flipped another $125 lens on plus-sized dating, so the total was $250 for this day.

On February 3rd, I flipped two more lenses for $125 a piece to a single buyer on workplace stress, totaling $250.

On February 4th, I had a weird limbo situation. The travel lens was claimed, but then given back because it doesn’t fit with the customer’s niche, so this one didn’t get sold and is now back up for grabs at $125!

On February 5th, I flipped a lens at /dietdiabetic for $125.

On February 6th, I flipped my /coffeebean lens for $125.

On February 7th, I flipped a lens at /adwordstraffic for $145.

On February 8th, I flipped two lenses - at /medicinalherb and /overeating - each for $125, making that a $250 day!

On February 9th, I flipped /mrbento for $125, /homeacnetreatment for $125 and someone has SAID they want to buy /careofbonsaitrees, but I’m waiting to hear back on that so I won’t count it as income yet. So $250 for today.

On February 10th, I flipped /FOREX_Trading_Signals for $125 and /paying-off-your-credit-cards for $125, so it’s $250 for the day.

On February 11th, I flipped http://www.squidoo.com/clothbabydiapers for $125 and two others had multiple interested parties, but it flowed over into the next day because I couldn’t get ahold of two people. So $125 for the day.
