Day 9 on Squidoo

It appears as if it’s much harder this time around to climb to the top. I think it has to do a lot with the number of Squidoo users and lenses as well as the fact that Squidoo is constantly tinkering with stuff and it’s hard to master it when it keeps changing.
Kevin mentioned that the SERP results for Squidoo lenses are dropping due to the JavaScript they added and many others complained about it, too. Hopefully they’ll fix it because that’s one of the reasons Squidoo is so special – it gives you an almost instant boost in Google.

Are you referring to the javascript in the source code right above the stars ratings? Hasn’t that always been there? or are you referring to something else?

No, there is about 6 pages of new javascript inline in the template that has to do with some new enhancements to improve tracking of referrers and better stats. The old javascript, is in external files as it should be, but in the last week or so, some new javascript was added and it is a lot for the spiders to weed through before they get to actual content. I started a thread on SquidU, but the staff hasn’t replied yet, just the main SquidU citizens.

Yes, saw the thread after I posted here. I’m sure they’ll do something about it. I was thinking today, they (or someone) should start up another site very similar to Squidoo then we can start all over with the fun again and dominate google even more, lol

I tricked out my lens tonight with a cool photo album from slide.com
This is once again using the iframe like the optin box to include external pages into the lens.
