In the Top 100 in 1 Week! (Day 7 of 30 Days to Success on Squidoo)

Looks like we’ve made it into the Top 100 list! If you can’t find the LensRank on the lenses, it’s because they moved it to the right hand side at the bottom. Three challengers – Bruce, Keith, and Stephen are in the hot zone.
By the way, for those who have guestbooks: If you look at http://www.squidoo.com/informationentrepreneur it’s a mammoth guestbook. But people like to add to it. They want their links to show. I noticed many of you left it on default to only show 3 guests. If you want to, you can go in and make it show as many as you want. I usually put my guestbook at the bottom so if they link out, it’s okay because they’ve already passed everything else.
Another tip about the guestbook. You may need to go into Edit and edit the guestbook module and look for people’s signatures that are pending approval. They won’t show up automatically always – you have to manually approve them and I’m seeing empty guestbooks. I bet y’all have signatures waiting…(in my best Texas twang)

I got hit…it had to happen sooner or later. All my lenses have been hit by the 1 star bandit!
A 1 week challenge might be the way to go next time. Or a bit longer..10 days maybe? I will probably forget about it in 30 days. lol..I want to be in the top 100!! vote for mine plzzzzzzzzzz;)

Keith said the same thing, but part of what’s hard about Squidoo is maintenance. Getting to the top is easy because your lens is new, you’re adding new modules, people are curious, etc. It’s keeping a top spot that’s the real competition. By the way, I played 5-star fairy this morning and hit all of the contestants’ lenses with 5 stars.

I think we should maintain with 30 days. This will the real challenge to see if anyone can really mantain his/her lens and also ranking for the next 30 days.
I’m curious. How having high lens rank can help generate traffic? Do you mean incoming traffic to our lenses?
Lastly, how long a lens should be before we can more on to the next lens?
I’m still facing problem with adding modules. As pointed out by Bruce, I may have browser problem. Currently, I’ve no choice but to ask my friend to add modules to my lens using his computer. Quite troublesome.
I’m going to rate every contestants’ lenses later today and of course, a Hi-5. So, stay tuned!
