I found it a little interesting. I’m not sure how I perceive this new change. I’ve visited some other lenses in a few of my categories and their lenses haven’t reflected the new change as of today. We’ll see at the end of the week.

Just a side note. My first lense did not converted into any sales. However, I put up my second lense over the weekend and in only a few hours of having it up, I made my 1st affiliate sale by implementing the tools I’ve learned from your newsletter .

I am not liking it. Long lenses look kinda weird and they added all kinds of links to other lenses (not mine) which isn’t cool…although the top ten in each category must be thrilled. I think the other look was more porfessional.

I’m rather new to squidoo lenses and do think the new format is a bit crowded with additional lenses and much too dark in color. It seems so dreary.

Website Colors are so important and I hope this doesn’t effect a negative effect on the way in which people decide to spend their money. It just needs to be lightened up a bit.

I was actually wondering if I should un-Max my lenses before the change. The new design has pushed me even closer to just doing it. I just wonder if their are any real disadvantages to having an un-Maxed lens.

They’re tight lipped about it, but I haven’t seen any major boosts of having a maxed lens.

Alex, great news about your affiliate sales! One funny thing - I built a lens on psoriasis and nobody has bought it, but it’s converting on ClickBank for me! LOL I’ll keep it

I’m not a fan. I think it looks cramped and less professional, and the blue is way too dark. The white w/light gray felt much more “Web 2.0″ to me.

I suppose that it might just be that I’m used to the old look, but I don’t think so. Anyway, fortunately I can unmax and get the look I like, so that’s cool. I will probably leave a few maxed to see how they do.
