Day 2: Dear Lens Flipping Diary,

I told my son what I was doing for him and he’s so proud (he’s 9). It’s just a challenge for me - can I pay for an entire years’ tuition using nothing but lens flipping? It’ll be interesting to see! Today I got a PM from someone wanting another WAH lens (yesterday’s lens had a lot of buyers wanting it) but this time, he wanted it to have a slant for CPA (Cost Per Action) leads.

So here’s what I’ve developed (and again, it’s the first thing I do this morning):

Lens title: Make Money Using Your Computer From Home

Introduction Module Title: Work at Home Legitimate Business Offers

Amazon Module #1 Title: Make Money Online - a Strategy Guide!

Text Module #1 Title: Selling Incentives Can Rake in a Lot of Cash!

Amazon Module #2 Title: How to Get Started as an Affiliate Marketer

Text Module #2 Title: Other Work at Home Opportunities You Might Enjoy

Guestbook Module Title: Have You Decided Which Work at Home Opportunity You’d Like to Pursue?

Now you’ll notice that only one of the modules is specifically the CPA incentive. I have to make sure that the lens appeals to as many people on my Lens Alert List as possible, while still catering to the needs of the person who requested it initially.

It took me about 15 minutes to write the lens content. Another 15 to build the lens. I grabbed the URL: http://www.squidoo.com/make-money-work-at-home (I can’t believe it wasn’t taken)! Added my usual guestbook, 2 text modules, and 2 Amazon modules. I also went and bought 3 new iStockPhoto images for $1 each. I like to vary it from time to time.

Okay ready to launch to the list - it’s 8:04 AM. Queued up the email and it’ll cross-post to Twitter. It went out at 8:13 AM. Now I’ll monitor the email to see who’s 1st (if anyone lol).

I won’t publish this blog entry till I know if it sold. Wish me luck!…tick tock, tick tock, tick tock….

8:16 AM SOLD! Woot!
Thanks! Spread the word….
Tiff ;)

    You go girl!

Is there any part of it you can outsourse so you can concentrate on the writing?

  • Gavin Allinson:

    good on you Tiff.

I think I’m going to join you and promise to sell a lens a day too. I purchased your Lens Flipping e- book ages ago and know how to do it all, I’ve got good general knowledge about a wide range of subjects and can write.

My goals a bit more ’selfish’.

I’m aiming to compete in the World Indoor rowing Championships in Feb 2009, I’ll be in the 40+ category for the first time. I train at the gym a lot but it’s not that convenient so I am going to get my own machine to have at home they cost about a $1000 so that’s only 10 lenses.

    Watch this space.

    Gavin

Nah Peggy it doesn’t take me long - 30 mins tops? Not worth outsourcing. Plus that’s often more of a headache. lol

Gavin, good for you! Keep me posted on how you did!

  • Carol Smith:

More advice — great. You are a marvelous writer and that certainly helps. Constantly trying to improve mine.
